For any competent pianist wanting an introduction to the works of Debussy this is a very good compliation - all the pieces you are like to want to add to your repertoire are in this edition. The text is uniformly clear and easy to read, with careful consideration of pagination. The only drawback for less experienced pianists is that no fingering is provided, so you will almost certainly need the help of a teacher to enjoy these expressive works.
Obviously the piano music of debussy is amazing and this is quite amazing for this price, but why couldn't the rest of the preludes be included? This is very nearly the complete piano works, so why couldn't the rest of the preludes be included rather than some of the less well known pieces. I look forward to playing lots of this music and the book seems good quality but I will probably have to buy the preludes again to get the rest. :'(
