This book gives good, practical guidance on the removal from the workplace of physical and mental stresses caused by poor job or environmental design. Reading this after many years in several industries, one is left with the feeling that so many injuries and disabilities could easily have been avoided if people had applied these principles. The authors mix text, pictures and numbers expertly to give easy to understand but authoritative advice, applicable in almost any working environment. Managers, safety advisors and anyone else who wants people to be treated correctly in the workplace are recommended to read and apply the content of this book.

I'd probably like it more if I wasn't having to use this for coursework.
Really quite useful though, with clear instructions and illustrations. I just wouldn't have this as your ONLY source for ergonomics information.

Readable and well detailed. It covers everything from introduction to environmental factors, task and jobs, posture and movement. This handy book also includes sources of additional information. It is strongly recommended for those of you entering the world of ergonomics.
