This is an essential introductory text for aikidoka. As the number of students who had direct contact with the Founder the transmission of the subtleties of aikido culture is being lost. he author has captured many of these and explains well why things are done rather than just what. One has to look very hard to find a lot of the information contained in this little book.
As suggested I have only just started this book, but it is interesting so far. Easy to follow and understand the concepts of aikido are plainly spelled out so everyone can understand the, from novice to advanced practitioner. Even a non practitioner of the art could pick up its essence from this book.
