This is an excellent preschoolers book. It's a good size, square hardback board book with sturdy toddler proof pages. It's visually great to look out with lots of colourful pictures and different bright coloured background double spread pages - 2 x white, aqua, orange, yellow, purple, red and green. Lots of story text and an opportunity to make noises - slurp, slurp for Caramel drinking her carrot juice, clip clop, yee-ha, zoom etc.
The story itself is intelligent and great for children's emotional development. Bossy Charley learns to be considerate of others, feels sorry for his bad behaviour and makes amends to poor Caramel. The story ends on taking turns as well as the main how brilliant is your imagination theme of the series.
Very highly recommended.
