A lovely story. My grandson and I made a cardboard ginger bread man stuck him on a stick and used the prop to act out the story. We then moved on to make gingerbread biscuits. He loved it. He is two years three months old.

Samuel was enchanted with the book and it's colourful illustrations telling the old tale of the Gingerbread Man and the people he met on his journey, all in rhyme. We were delighted with it too, a charming telling of a traditional story.
