If this is going to be played within your earshot, then I wouldn't waste money on it because you will not be able to tolerate Pearce Brosnan's DREADFUL reading for very long. The mid-atlantic narrating accent is bad enough but listening to him trying to do scottish is painful. Stick with a proper actor like Michael Angelis.
I bought this audio book for my 2 boys for Christmas. My eldest son has learning difficulties and cannot read yet but loves to listen to stories. He loves everything Thomas and so this audio book is one of the best ideas I have had in a long time. I also bought them mp3 players and put this on it and it keeps them amused on long car journeys.
I have taken away one star as it is read by Pierce Brosnan who doesn't have the same animated voice as Michael Angelis who has done all the other audio for Thomas DVD's and CD's
