I'm an artist, and I was looking for a book that summarised the techniques for constructing the main kinds of linear perspective that an artist might use: one-point, two-point, and three-point. This book does that clearly, but additionally does it by means of some first-rate drawings, which adds a lot to my enjoyment of the book, plus they are French scenes, which lends additional interest. Good-quality printing and binding, excellent value.

This is quite a thorough survey of the principal types of perspective drawing: one-, two- and three-point perspective. The author is an accomplished draughtsman, and a number of the drawings show scenes in France, booth of which lend interest to the book. The author doesn't tackle perspective in still-life composition, which is a drawback, and the examples shown don't cover such tricky problems as, for example, drawing a three-legged table in perspective.
