An awesome idea for a book! Filled with some excellent rainy day ideas to do at home AND they teach my child how to be environmentally friendly - a double bonus. Great illustrations and the instructions are clear enough for my daughter to work independently. A must in everybody's household.

'This Book is Totally Rubbish' is a fantastic book for youngsters. My niece and nephew absolutely
LOVE it. It keeps them amused for hours! That's gotta be good! It makes use of all the things that we have in our homes like cardboard boxes, newspaper, carrier bags and plastic containers. They can dress up in the things they make, or just play with them, and it teaches them to help the environment at the same time as having fun. Again that's gotta be good! With the long school holidays coming up it's essential!!
There is another one too - 'This Book Totally Makes Stuff Grow' which is also a MUST for getting them outside in the garden and growing their own lunch/tea! Also how to make a Bug Hotel - and lots more! Very informative....very cleverly written with humour and in a way that children love and understand. They make great gifts!

What child could resist a book with such a title? Maggie, Rose, Oscar and Bentley are four friends who love making things. Everything is the book can be made from objects that have been recycled so it is great for encouraging children not to throw too much away. The activities are ingenious and attractively presented in a way that will inspire children's creativity and encourage them to develop their own ideas. The instructions are clear enough for children to follow on their own - an important learning porocess. Children can also make their own moulding clay, paint and even brushes. Look out for these fun characters in Maggie & Rose: This Book Totally Makes Stuff Grow (Maggie and Rose) too.

Moth my son's who are 3 and 9 years old LOVE this book my older son loves the irony of the title and enjoys doing all the activities inside with his younger brother. So much so that we have since bought more copies handy for birthday presents as I'm so confident that all kids will love the book!

This book is totally cool! It's a great book for children to learn about their surroundings and how their actions affect the planet and their future. It is an innovative, fun way to keep them occupied and I have bought many as gifts for friend's and family.
