if you're after a quick read and are after a book that gets the character of the doctor right this is your book. This book is very entertaining and has a fast past storyline to get you interested and keep you interested. it is for the younger reader (Im 22) as some of the twist and turns you can see coming - but otherwise a great read. I have read up to the third installment of this series and enjoyed it - each book takes a couple of hours to read or even quicker if you are a fast reader. Excellent fun journey of the doctor.

This is the first book in a 10 part series of the Darksmith Legacy; none of the books are very large, so it's not a difficult read.

The Tardis has landed on the moon and the Doctor (Tenth, as played by David Tennant) has found himself visiting a Survey Team who have just found a strange energy source under the surface. Meanwhile half a galaxy away on the planet Karagula the Darksmith Collective are holding a meeting. Whatever they've been looking for appears to have been found.

A good read, this book sticks closely to the Doctor Who `classic' feel - moonbases, aliens, and the Doctor helping out the humans. I look forward to the next one in the series.

This is Book 1 of a ten book series (comes as a box set). We got books 2 to 10 in their original box in the school sale so we are delighted this seller provided the first book at a very reasonable price and delivered it in two days !

I really enjoyed reading this book, but mostly because I'm a huge Dr Who fan. It's quite short and the writing style is very simple - it's clearly aimed at young readers. However, it's still enjoyable and convinced me to buy the next few installments of the series.

I found it difficult to picture the characters accurately, as very little description is given about them, however, the book still made for an enjoyable read.

I would recommend this, as it's certainly fun - it has little inserts for you to try and work out the answers to certain puzzles presented to the Doctor - but you'll finish the whole thing in a few hours without a doubt!
