Set out a bit like one of those annuals, but all Jedi info and none of the pointless games. Seems ideal for our lads age group (7years). Not too wordy, so that he can pick it up and read bits of it himself. Ilustrated with stills from the films. Everything you need to know to start your Jedi training, the Jedi code, light sabers, famous Jedi, Sith v Jedi, all about the force. I particularly liked the Jedi time line.
Older readers might prefer the 'Jedi Path'.
Younger readers might prefer to start with the DK Readers 'Feel the force' and 'I want to be a Jedi'.
Very useful for our Jedi Academy party.

This is a great overview of what it is to be a Jedi, written for older children - kind of like a "Jedi Path" for non-adults. Every page is full of colour photos from the films and Clone Wars episodes.
I particularly liked the pages showing the construction of a lightsaber and details of other Jedi equipment.
Another page shows details of and images of Jedi practising the combat Forms.
Entertaining, although you'll read it pretty quickly if you're over eight years old.
