This bright and colourful book is ideal for medical students learning the essentials of rheumatology, orthopaedics and trauma over a short time-frame. The book is literally `At a Glance' and can also be used a set of revision notes. The book is useful clinically, covering examination of the leg, arm, spine and rheumatological assessment. The diagrams and pictures enhance the text and make the book a pleasure to read.

A fun read dispensing with plenty of helpful points and comments to assuage any anxieties you have about the musculo-skeletal system.
Look out for:
1. Splendid diagrams that interplay with accompanying text. After reading text on opposite page, they serve as a reminder of what you have read, and serve well as an aide-memoire. Especially good when the pictures create their own narrative with presentations, diagnosis, treatment etc.
2. Concise and succinct explanations. Not too over-loaded with information, yet include a lot of material.
3. Helpful 'Tips' summary boxes at end of each chapter.
4. Practice case-based questions at end revise material covered in book.
