Great book, flowed from the previous book. Complicated in parts with the emotions of the characters and their history and beliefs. Loved the characters and the strong partners chosen by the men. Looking forward to the next book but you must read these books in order to understand who,why and what but saying that you can read on their own.
Ever since I read about Dai in Goblin King i've wanted to learn more about him and his past.
After the curse broke he regained his humanity and life in the Fixed Realm although it's been thousands of years as he is just a shadow of the man he once one. The time, place and people he knew are all gone and he must make a new life for the sake of himself and his newly married brother Roan.
Amanda has been a single mother since she was still pregnant and has never been able to let anyone in until she see's a mysterious man across a church.
The romance between them was a study build and realistic of their situation. Dai is more than a man and Amanda needed to know that but would she run if she knew the truth?
The bok was told from different points of view which really helped move the story along and gave a more indepth view of their world and relationships. Being from Wales I loved that story has that connection from me and i'm straight onto the next in the Series
