This book is a straightforward and easy to read. It gives a fantastic overview of the current anti-bribery legal landscape and most importantly, offers practical advice. We all know that multi-national business are being actively targeted and that prosecution is becoming a very real threat to many businesses. I think David Lawler's book would help any business assess risk and take the necessary steps to become compliant with anti-bribery legislation.
Down to earth book, written for the businessperson, rather than the lawyer. Highly recommended for everyone who needs to set up an effctive antibribery programme. Lots of detail in the right places, without the jargon.
This book covers a wide range of subjects on anti-bribery and corruption, including planning and carrying compliance visits. It is written in "page turning" form and is not a turgid academic treatise, but is a practical down to earth guide. Comments on the UK position and also the US and beyond - extrememly useful to corporate compliance officers who are "in the trenches" and also to practitioners.
