Michelle Casto's "The Destiny Discovery" is a lovely handbook for anyone either going through change, or wishing to make meaningful changes in his or her life. I particularly like her model of the "Four V's", or "Stages of Consciousness": Victim, Victor, Vehicle and Vessel. It reminds me of a cross between Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and M. Scott Peck's four stages of community (I'm a big fan of both). However, Michelle presents it all within a much more "daily life" approach, so readers can relate to it and work with it at a practical level. And while her professional background as both an educator and a careers advisor certainly have helped bring down-to-earth substance to this book, the ultimate goal of "The Destiny Discovery" is to help the reader find their SOUL's purpose. In other words, it's not just about asking "What job should I get?" or "What should I do with my life?" but rather "Who am I? Why was I born at this time in history? What am I here to create?" If you are asking these kinds of questions, pick up Michelle's book and see where it can lead you.

The book is easy and enjoyable reading; all the concepts and processes are fully explained and easy to understand. The book as a life coaching process is itself well laid out and a logical progression that links spiritual and personal growth from start to finish helping us develop what could be described as spiritual intelligence. It strikes a balance between going for our dreams but at the same time is well grounded in dealing with reality and the stresses of everyday life, moreover, once on track it helps you to go with the flow and ultimately succeed in life with ease. The book is based upon Michelle's personal experience and how this method has worked for her, so if your life feels like a car crash then this book is definitely for you! Highly recommended. Loved reading this book and exploring what Michelle has to say about the Destiny discovery. She covers a lot of ground in it and really helps you to see where you may still be blocked around living your purpose and destiny fully with joy and appreciation. I highly recommend it to you- Gill Potter (life purpose expert) [...]
