This was recommended to me by someone who had already benefitted from it. I can't recommend it enough. Absolutely amazing and so helpful. I have lived with horrendous back problems and arthritis for over 30 years and was sick of painkillers. This book is changing the quality of my life.

I didnt find this book helpful as its written for people who have chronic pain but dont work! It gives me very few techniques or scenarios to relate too. For example, someone having a bad day so to pace went for a 30 minute walk. Erm i have a bad day and have an 8 hour shift to get through. If your not working im sure this will be helpful but its pretty presumptious on what someone with chronic pain is like.
Bought on hospital recommendation for someone with fibromyalgia. The techniques benefit her - although she did find the way it was written to be a little "Do this and it will work for you" - which of course is not always the case! She find the "mindfulness" techniques especially helpful.
Perfect for my needs. Would recommend anyone with arthritis, fybromyalgia or any other chronic pain syndrome read this as it is well worth reading. I would recommend this and the seller who gave me a prompt delivery again.
Was asked too purchase this by my pain specialist ....... When reading it's like da ha vu ...... I already know all this and do all this ..... As I've suffered with chronic pain for 10 years ..... Good book for someone just diagnosed with chronic pain .....l
