Having had and constantly used the authors previous work, co-authored by Mark Rolfe and published by Hikoki in 1998 (of which the first review above is for) this revised and expanded edition is a welcome addition. The page count has increased from 96 to 192 and more importantly, the number of emblems has also expanded from 864 emblems in the 1998 edition to 1017 in the latest volume. This not only means that 153 new emblems have been added, previously unidentified emblems have now been allocated units. Sure, there will still be some mistakes and with new emblems appearing almost on a weekly basis, there will be gaps. But any improvement has to be a bonus so not only is it a must for any Luftwaffe enthusiast, when it can be found here with a generous discount (April'12) its an absolute bargain too.
A quality publication which comprehensively illustrates all known Luftwaffe badges.Tthese can be found in other publications and indeed on line, but nice to have on the shelf with the other books! More a browsing book than a straight read through. My only criticism - the illustrations of the badges should have ben two or three times bigger.
20 x 27 cm, 192 pages with more than 1000 emblems and many photographs. It was very helpful for me, finding the picture of the emblem I was missing in the work of a profile. I'm sure it will be a source for modelling the odd special plane. It is of cause a treat for all Lufftwaffe interested. Recommended.
Valuable add to any previously purchased Luftwaffe titles. I am glad to get it for bargain price and moreover, it brings new info I was recently looking for among few Luftwaffe related questions. Recommended ;)
Ho trovato pochissimi libri sull'argomento e quasi tutti datati.
