This is a valuable guide to 'pacing' for those who have already read the book 'Living well with pain and illness'. I found it useful and would suggest to anyone living with a chronic physical illness that they buy the book and booklet together. The accompanying CD is also good. All in all, another good production from Breathworks, whose work I admire greatly.
This book was excellent, the practice is hard but so worthwhile. Don't expect instant results this is the path to a lifetime of practice and sometimes you will find yourself going one step forward and seemingly two step back. Overall a really good book.
This goes well with breathing CD, so that mindfulness starts to become a very positive natural way of life. It helps you to veiw either pain or illness in a different way, so that it does determine who you are. I think anyone could work through this and have a positive result, and a happier person!
