amazing book lots of research ...i just didnt realize how much literature on jesus and the first centuary was around that ISNT the new testament...gives a historical record of jesus from other sources NOT JUST the tanak, talmud, old testament, new testament, or quran . then leaves the reader to decide what the historical evidence says about jesus and which is more in line with what the torah / new testament / quran says about the very same person. (peace be upon him)
This book is a fascinating read as it delves into Christian and Islamic viewpoints on the Prophet Jesus. The author provides a coherent and logical arguement behind why much of the early 'Christian' teachings as taught by Jesus were lost so soon after he had 'left us', and why so much of modern Christian theology is little more than a mish-mash of pagan beliefs and political manouevering on the part of the early Christians. A great read for anyone interested in who Jesus really was and the conflicts between the teachings of Jewish Christians (including James, the brother of Jesus), the trinitarian christainity of Paul, and the Unitarian chriatian as followed in the east at the time.
