Loved Keith Floyd, the best and most entertaining TV cook there has ever been in my view. Granted, it's not a genre that I've applied myself to much. I bought this book largely because a reviewer had thought that it embodied the man, like being with him. It didn't and it wasn't. It is startling how flat and dull these recipes are without Floyd's graphic telling.

I just loved Keith's way of writing about food and so this his first is a great book.'
his recipes were not always practical for home cooking but good fun if you are a foodie.
Good choice if you like cook books.

He may have been dead for a number of years, but his recipes and stories are still of great interest. The books were sent across to Canada and greatly appreciated

the book was great to read, but literally fell apart page by page as you read through it. Not amused.

This book is so much fun - there's barely a recipe in it that doesn't contain some sort of booze! There is plenty of substance behind the chatty style and many of the recipes are very simple and real classics. You can almost hear Keith Floyd saying the words out loud as you read them on the page. Where else would you find a recipe where one of the ingredients is a whole bottle of wine....not to put in the dish, but to drink on your own as an accompaniment. Worth buying a lobster for!!!

A very thin book, few recipes no colour photos, overall a big disappointment both to me and to my husband as I had bought it for him as a gift not. Certainly not worth £8.43, I notice it has gone down a little now but still not worth the money
