Perhaps not a particularly glamorous subject, but an important one. The style is very clear and builds excellently through the chapters. It's not a huge educational tome, but a concise introduction which was more than sufficient for me. It's written for an undergrad Physics audience, but this doesn't detract from its usefulness to anyone attempting controlled, repeated measurements. A knowledge of basic calculus is probably required for the most advanced chapters on the normal distribution.

Brilliant book. helped with all the error propagation and stuff. If you like all the statistics you'll like this book. Goes in to depth and was recommended by lecturers.

This is very good as it includes worked examples, and exercises (half of them with answers in the back) that are graded from easy to advanced.

Amazing book to understand error propagation. It starts with very simple examples and increase difficulty slowly and you are never lost!
