The Changeling by Murry Hope is a personal account of her eventful life. Naturally there is an emphasis upon the spiritual and psychic events in her life throughout its pages. The more unpleasant episodes in her life she deals with in a very matter of fact way. She simply brushes them aside and gets on with her life in a thoroughly pragmatic way.
Whilst it is a warm and engaging tale sometimes the story line loses its timeline and you are thrown about and I was left feeling rather confused at times by what was happening and when. There is a strong emphasis on her early years and some of the later parts in her life when she became a successful spiritual teacher and writer are somewhat glossed over.
Nevertheless this is a fascinating account of a very eventful and full-filling life with both highs and lows adding greatly to the richness of the authors' nature.
This gives a detailed account of Murry Hope's life and personal insight into her character and the people who enter her life. It gives the route she took and how she reached the spirituality that was part of her life. A very good and interesting read.
