Andrea Bliss Lerman has thoroughly researched these favorite recipes from many people in the macrobiotic community. The basics are all there and the desserts are delicious. I especially like the traditional tortilla recipe from whole corn. It tastes really great made with blue corn.

Macrobiotic has been known, and we have obtained several books on this genre.
This book covers fairly large recipes for wider ethnic scope, that is, people from varied dietary back ground. This make cooking Macrobotic food interesting.
There are few thing that the author needed to dig, such as the importance of freshness of the materials used, and including more photographs.
