This book runs through the fundamentals behind plyometric training in a concise and clear manner.
The reader is given an overview of the principles behind plyometric training and how/why it is applied.
The reader is given a run through on assessing capabilities and creating a safe plyometric programme.
The book gives a large number of examples of different plyometric exercises with each example illustrated with photos.
It also provides examples of 12 week training programmes for various sports.
The reader is also introduced to the basic sports science behind building high-end performance (ie. how plyometrics relates to other elements of the power hierarchy).
A very good reference for plyometric training.
