I found this book very insightful. The authors' notes that accompany Martin Luthers' 95 Theses, are clear and concise, and provide much needed insight into the events and motives, behind what was to become a momentous reformation.

Not too shabby, i love Theses 50 "true contrition seeks and loves penalties, but liberal pardons only relax penalties and cause them to be hated, or atleast they give a reason for hating them".

So relevant today as we are now guilty of creating a generation of narcissistic brats who are used to getting everything and have absolutely no idea of what contrition is. The more liberty given, the more hated authority of any kind becomes.

The booklet arrived in a generously big packeging, so it was fine. It is a decisive scripture in church history, which starts the showdown of the reformation with the catholic church.

Another useful text to read before writing my Thomas Carlyle / Martin Luther essay.

Coaxed wonderfully both a historical and theological debate.
