This book is lovely in its simplicity. Roughly three panels per page and minimal text telling of the day-to-day thoughts and tragically mundane happenings of a celibate-yet-sex-craved middle aged man. Both art and narration are sparse, telling little more than is required to create the mood and leave the rest to the imagination creating genuine emotional resonance. Unfortunately, this sparseness is also the books major flaw. I finished it up pretty quickly and felt like I was still left wanting more, even though the book is not unusually thin. Moreover, the work does not consist of especially complex concepts so there was not much to be gained from re-reading. Overall; decent quality but in certain ways light on content.
