A Glorious Little Gem!
18 July 2018
This extraordinary great small novel is in my view of an outstanding calibre.
Storytelling is of an absolutely wonderful quality, simply because the author writes with a beautiful lyrical prose to produce heartfelt feelings and genuine people.
The book describes feelings and doings of all kinds of people, whether its Farouk from Syria, or Lampy and John from Ireland, with great conviction and in a real humane fashion.
It's also a story that's compassionate and moving, but at the same time it's unpredictable but nevertheless engrossing.
The story is about Farouk from Syria, and Lampy and John from Ireland, who after their own heartbreak have to come to terms with their predicaments, but each man still has to live his life-journey of Heaven and Hell, which is filled with love and hate, hope and despair.
What will follow is a tale about people full of mystery, heartbreak and not to forget a lot of humanity.
Very much recommended, for this book is a small jewel in itself, and that's why I call it: "A Glorious Little Gem"!
