This is a powerful story which hasnt yet reached Spielberg. I suspect that the author omitted some of the more gruesome details but it's still a harrowing account of the life of a Jew in the concentration camps which so many would have you believe never existed. Louis Bannet lived into his 90's. I dont know if any of his relatives are reading this review but thank you so much for sharing the story with the world. I am Jewish and I play jazz trumpet. I dont know what would have happened to me if I had been in Louis Bannet's position but thanks to people like him I hope I never have to find out. Buy this book! Read it! Talk about it! Never forget!
