Well writen book on picturebooks. Complex, but not complicated. Sophisticated and interesting to read. Describing language of picturebooks - means that create this special genre "in transit". Nodelman gives examples and shares his thoughts on certain pieces of picturebook's art. First published in 1988, but hasn't got old. This is a must have for all kind of professionals interested in a topic.
