This is a fabulous commentary on the Greek text and an essential for the aspiring student in New Testament Greek. It was written by the celebrated F.F Bruce who began his theological career at the University of Aberdeen studying Greek and Latin. He is usually defined as Emeritus Professor of New Testament studies at the University of Manchester. The commentary begins with a lengthy introduction (circa. 80pages) outlining the context of the letter: When it was written? Who are the Galatians? and the development of scholarship surrounding the epistle. Then Bruce immediately begins his commentary on the Greek text, taking the reader through it verse by verse and surgically extracts its true original meaning.
