This is a beautifully produced book. It's of the same physical quality as the proceeding D&D 3.5 'Premium' reprints ... except ... this one does NOT have the errata fixed. The Premium Players Handbook, Dungeon Master Guide, Monster Manual and Spell Compendium, all include the promised errata but this product doesn't.

If you need a copy of the Magical Item Compendium and you can get this one cheaper then the older (original) version, then sure, buy this book. Just be sure to realise that it has the exact same errors and typos as the original book had back in 2007.

I purchased my copy when Amazon and even the WotC website were still listing the book as including errata. So I am pretty disappointed. However, it's still a very nice 'Premium' quality reprint of the original book, and as long as you aren't paying more than you would for the original, and you purchase it knowing it hasn't been corrected, then it's a good purchase.

One of the new re-printed 3.5e books. Great quality and worth upgrading from the old one.

Bought for a friend who joins in our games and it's really helped the party out.

As one of the best and most important supplements for 3.5 D&D players I don't think that any active Dungeon Master or dedicated player should miss out this product unless they already have the original and even still they should consider buying the premium as the quality difference is simply amazing compared to the original books.

This book is the best collection of items for D&D 3.5. This version has a very nice new cover. If you already own the original 3.5 Magic Item Compendium, than there is no need to buy this new version. If you don't, than buy this one brand new!
