It's the only Uzbek-English phrasebook I could find and it's not at all bad. I'd rather it were in a smaller format like most phrasebooks and it is rather heavy on the dictionary part. It does have lots of useful notes on Uzbek life and I'd recommend it. Just listen to some Uzbek online to really understand the pronunciation.
This is a perfectly adequate little dictionary/phrase book if you just want the basics. Was surprised to find (amid the expected phrases on hotels and trains) a 2 page section with such phrases as 'are there any booby traps nearby?' 'is the bridge still standing?' etc. Expected the worst but had a WONDERFUL trip and didnt need this section once !!
