For nurses or junior doctors, this is an ideal book to carry in your pocket. It has just the right amount of detail in order to act as a reminder or guide on the process you're trying to carry out. It is a 'readable' book in that it is easy to decipher - maybe a book to go hand in hand with anyone studying for the Independent and Supplementary Prescribing qualification.
Yes this is a patient assessment compact book. However, personally I have found it to be too Americanised and not as beneficial as the Oxford Handbook of clinical examination and practical skills for UK based healthcare professionals
