Although it was a disappointment for me to discover 'The Fellowship of the Ring' Xbox game was infact based on the book, instead of the film, this book helped me pass the boring parts of this game to the exciting stuff involving Gandalf in the Mines of Moria, and playing the ultimate warrior Aragorn against the dark warriors of Mordor.
I had noticed this book, after finding some parts of the game difficult to pass, and was keen to get onto the better parts of the story.
This book certainly did that with pictures and detailed, but simple instructions and tips on how to pass situations in the game.
This book provides hints and tips for the consoles it is out on just now: Xbox, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance and the PC.
In addition, for any fans of the Lord of the Rings, there is a very well done art gallery at the end of the book, showing drawn pictures of the main characters and settings in the book, along with their pictures of them in the game.
