This is a desktop or wall-mounted calendar, of the tear-off type with a page per day. Like others of its type the Sports Facts calendar isn't the sort you'd use for long-term planning or managing your workload during a week. It's not a planner or activity diary -- instead it gives a new factoid for each day of the week. I really like these forms of calendars because they tend to make us stop and think for a couple of moments -- normally early in the day, over the first cup of coffee! However, this one suffers quite a bit from being very American. Normally, the info is international and applicable to most countries. But in this case it really doesn't transfer well. it's all about baseball, American football, golf and basketball -- not of much interest to the average Briton. Plus it doesn't contain info about UK holidays and dates. There are also no glossy illustrations or pretty pictures; these calendars focus on the text, so if it isn't relevant then there really isn't much point in turning over each page to find a new day.
So the best you could do with this calendar is give it an American friend! It's not going to be very useful or enjoyable for the average Brit. 4/10
