My five year old daughter loves sticker books and she adores the Disney Princesses, so I thought this would be a winner. However, unlike most sticker books there are no background pictures to fill in with your own choice of stickers. Rather there are captions, each of which has a blank shaped place next to it, to fit in the appropriate sticker. So, for example, there is a page saying, "Meet the Princesses" and when you have read about Belle, your child needs to find the Belle sticker which fits and place it in the appropriate place. Further characters include "Friends and Family", "Vile Villains" and "True Love". The stickers themselves are quite small and fiddly, so children would probably have to be four and over to complete the book on their own. Also, there is little imagination involved and my daughter abandoned it after the first page and used the stickers to decorate notepads and drawings of her own. The stickers are useful for that, but I would prefer a sticker book to involve a little more as you can always get stickers from comics etc. Overall, a pretty disappointing buy.
