An easy, gentle read, strolling through |Julie's early years - sketching out the other side to stardom. Names are dropped, but in such an inclusive and natural way, that one doesn't feel it's an intrusion or voyeurism !
This is one of the best autobiographies that I have ever read. This is written in Julie's "voice" from the first page, and is a very matter of fact description of her very interesting early life. This is a book to curl up with on a winter's evening. Thoroughly enjoyable.
This was an easy, entertaining and very funny book. being about the same age as Julie,I could relate to several of the experiences, especially her teenage years. She writes well, making you want to turn the pages. Would happily recommend to any fans of Julie Walters!
