This book has everything you would want in a light hearted romantic book. I really enjoyed it & read it very quickly. The characters are well thought out & I enjoyed their transformations. It also made me think (ie Paige being scared to walk down the street) & thats always a good thing. Overall if you want a easy lighthearted read that you will enjoy, this is the book for you!!

Robyn Sisman is not only a consistently good writer of light romantic novels , but simultaneously manages to find fresh plots and characters.

In this one, Hollywood star and intellectual snob documentary maker come to self knowledge through getting to know and fall in love with each other.

This book is so much more than it's bare bones. The lively writing style is easy to read. The characters are interesting, funny and not predictable. Hollywood and London theatre are well researched.
It is a kindly book with a happy ending: perfect escapism. Great for romantic novel veterans and to encourage the less enthusiastic female reader. Go and try all her others too!

I was so disappointed with this book. The story was predictable and, whilst this can often be the case, it wasn't even written well - you can forgive predictability if you enjoy the route to the expected ending! This book just left me feeling I could write a better one myself. It's lame and should be left firmly on the shelf.

I've just finished this book and simply loved it. Throughout I was visualising the characters and who would play them in the film version because this would make a great romcom. It's brilliantly written, laugh out loud funny in places, sad and thoughful in others. There are some horrible characters and some terrific ones, I loved Ty, a real gnarled old rocker that fits the mould perfectly, so steriotypical but nevertheless superbly characterised. I liked the contrast between Paige's Hollywood and London Lifestyles and loved the way she changed and grew as a character from the spoilt, pampered little rich girl living in a bubble. Ed is sweet and likeable with (like all men?)relationhship issues and pre-conceived ideas about Paige and though he stuffs up big style, comes good at the end.
I preferred the second half of the book set in London to the over the top Hollywood part, but I suppose that's to be expected as that's the life Paige is escaping from so I suppose we weren't expected to like it too much. Liked all the Shakespeare references too and how the play blended in nicely with what was happening in Paige's life.
All in all a highly recommended read, this is the first book I'v read by this author and will definitely seek out some more of her books.

You can't help engaging with Paige and smiling at her guru Gaby Himmelfahrt. Of course the title says it all. The ending could not have been other than a Hollywood one.
This very well-written book makes you feel like a queen long after it has been put back on the shelf.

Its a good easy chick-flick type book if you want a story about romance. Within the first few chapters you are already hinted at the finale, predictable, but there are some nice moments. A good lesuirely read!
