Book was posted to me super quick. Haven't read it yet, just flicked though, but looks like it could be a good read ( if you like MX ). Just minus 1 star as I thought it was gonna be a book about Jamie's winning season not the one after in which he struggled to compete. Love Thorpe to write a book.
If you've always wondered what a season in the life of a pro motocross racer (and world champion) is like, this is it. James Dobb is one of the few motocross champions who have risen through the ranks of British motocross and who have achieved the pinnacle of success in the World Motocross Grand Prix. Jamie is very candid about a lot of things, from his past to his present, his old and new team mates, his competitors and his loved ones. If there is anything that is a good read, buy this book. It shows that there is more to motocross than just 'sitting on a bike and twisting the throttle', as the misconception so famously goes. And if you liked reading this, read Jeremy McGrath's "Wide Open: A Life in Supercross" as well.
