Very detailed, gives the reasons for doing things one way rather than another. I can now vary my vegetarian pasta loving daughter's diet a bit more!

This is simply a must for any serious Italian cook. The new chapter on fundamentals is excellent.

All the basics you need to know for a great Italian cooking. Definitely try making risotto, home made pasta and tomato bruschetta.

I bought this book as a gift for my parents after travelling to Italy. They were thrilled with it. The book has beautiful pages and is 'homely' and provides useful information to your average brit on how to source the best quality balsamic vinegar and some fabulous recipes. Tempted by how great this looks in their kitchen, I'm looking to purchase a copy for myself!
