The book made fascinating reading and Adrian Seligman had me spellbound right to the very last word. We rightly read so much of the heroic exploits of the armed forces during WWII and it made enthralling reading to read of the exploits of what was called the "Wavy Navy" (RNR-The Royal Naval Reserve) manned by sailors who in peace time were civilans. For me "Nadia" will always be an enigma. A well written book containing humour and centered initialy on the exploits of some young naval officers and dare I say it no blatant sex- very refreshing

Lovely book about a gentler side of war, smuggling boats down the coast of Turkey to allied waters. Read it, again, because it detailed the the coast where we were staying.

All as expected. Good value for the money. I really cannot understand why these reviews have to be of a certain length
