Dear Amazon - how about paying your UK tax so that users need not feel a sense of guilt when they use your products…..

I enjoyed the book very much, the author has great insight into indulged, spoilt young women living in NYC in the 70's

The good books form the 80's. If you don't know JMcI it's time to dive in that NYC ambiance.

Fabulous classic that can be enjoyed just as much as if it were written today.

I bought this book when it first came out, and remember it to be the first book that made me laugh out loud so ridicously bad (especially when in public places like trains etc.) that it got me into several embarassing moments!

But then I've read the book, and I might've given it to a friend, or lost it somewhere... and then I re-discovered it while browsing through some book websites where several people have recommended it, and since finding the book on here (and for this phenomenal price) I did not check twice to order it straight away!

Go on, small money for big time laughs! Great book (and not only for Girls!!!)

Did any of you notice that in American Psycho, Patrick Bateman meets Alison and attacks her? These two writers (McInerney and Bret Easton Ellis) cross reference each other all over the place. Try reading both.
