Gasping is a satiricial play that takes a sharp stab with a pointy stick at the British Corporate world. In a story about environmental responsibility and social equality, Elton uses Aristocratic foppishness to turn an otherwise frightening scenario into a hilarious and thought provoking piece.
Gasping is fast, witty, 'in-your-face' and filled with willy jokes - particularly in reference to elephants.
If you get the opportunity to see Gasping performed... do.

A great satire of money grabbing business. Good storyline, funny dialogues and well thought out characters. You've seen the play, now get the book.

A dated book, that would have been great when written, but too much time has passed and it has not lasted the test of time. Interetsing dip into the past though.
