This takes many hours to put together - most of the time it's fun (if you like that kind of thing), but some parts are so fiddly that it can really try your patience. Trying to attach the joints with bent paper clips is almost impossible - either the pin holes tear open, or the joints fall off as soon as you move the model (or both), and since it's made out of paper, the whole thing is quite flimsy. The 'hinges' in particular are hopeless, and the elbow ones tore while I was trying to attach the hands. Overall then, it was (mostly) fun to build, and the finished skeleton looks good, but be very careful when moving it around because it will fall apart at the slightest movement.
Not child's play alone....Don't be mislead by the child that fronts this kit book. This is an amusing challenging project, will test any adult and educational at the same time. Well detailed, made of fairly robust card and for the most part the instructions are easy to follow - not just written but with small diagrams that definately assist the construction. There is alot of cutting out for which I only ever used scissors (large and small pair)and that was sufficient, creasing of the card is also required and alot of glueing. I would say don't expect that this is a one day project by any means - I thought I was going to whizz through, not so. Enjoyed very much, and is great value for money and consumer of time. Curious...Try it.
