This book is a really good accompaniment to a sports massage course. It is clear, well laid out, readable, and well illustrated. However, it falls short when it comes to covering some aspects of level3 coursework, so shouldn't be relied upon on its own. As a standalone publication on the subject, I cant fault it. It covers everything you need to know in practice, whereas (in my opinion) coursework often get carried away with itself ; making a rocket science out of something much more simple, and going into details that merely serve to pad itself out. .... but buy the book...
An absolute essential for any aspiring masseur. Some great advice on not just technique but on kit too. From lotions to what to wear and from couch type to the ambience of the room or setting. You NEED this book!!!
