We have just moved to 365 replacing an ageing SBS 2003 R2 in the process. As office 365 is so new we wanted to get the most out of the features plus our IT support company were lagging behind on office 365 and what it could do. We have only just got this but it seems well laid and informative, in the past we have used the dummys guides which have been very good but the 365 one got a pounding so we got this instead. We have ordered a second copy today!

I bought this hoping it was an in-depth step by step guide to Microsoft Office. However, on receiving it the introduction makes clear this book is for those already proficient in the earlier version of Microsoft Office. It simply points out the similarities comparing them to the new version to assist you to make the transition to the updated version hassle free. I only have a basic know how of the 2003 version and was hoping and expecting (due to the title) that this was a thorough step by step guide that i could master it without having to learn earlier versions. Please be aware of this when buying it.
Just to mention, i can't otherwise comment as to how good or useful this book is to the experienced user of earlier editions.
