My daughter received this book as a gift when she turned 5, and loved it. She has recently turned 6 and has rediscovered this book, and it has completely captured her imagination again.
The book is laid out in journal style, with lots of little notes, letters and postcards between Cicely and and an old friend, discussing where her flower fairy friends might have gone. Beautifully illustrated, with a wonderful "pop up" scene at the end.
Recommended for any young girl who loves the magic of the flower fairies....(or any fairies for that matter - my daughter hadn't come across the flower fairies until this book).
Worth mentioning, most of the text is in script / cursive, so my 6 year old struggles to read it on her own. Just another excuse for story time together.

I bought this book as a replacement, for my 7 year old, because my 3 year old ripped up the pop up page and broke the sound on it. It was special to her because my nan (her great nan) gave it to her when she became a big sister. A lovely fantastic book.... But,, there is no pop up page at the end or sound, like there was in her first one. Slightly dissapointed about that, but the rest is the same. Thumbs up.
