Can be helpful but you have to take some of it with some discernment

This book has some helpful pointers and suggestions about considering whether someone is compatible. However I do wonder whether the man that she is advocating actually exists - he sounds too perfect!
I would not recommend this if you are married or if you have a child with someone. I think it is too picky and could encourage people to distance from each other when they do not need to. It advocates divorce in a lot of circumstances (yet, much of the pain experienced by people that causes their problems is that their parents split!) and I think too easily. According to Wikipedia the author has been divorced a number of times which is perhaps a telling sign...
Having said that I think it's a useful book for someone dating or single etc... but take some of it with a pinch of salt!
Also some of the problems she's advocated fit more into a 'love addiction' category nowadays... and if people can't stop some of the behaviours she described then that would be a more helpful avenue to go down, I think.
