This is a frank and humorous account of the life of a championship winning jump jockey. It will give you an insight into the dealings that occur between jockeys and jockeys, jockeys and trainers, and jockeys and owners. It is surprisingly unsentimental yet polite in a very old fashioned way.
If you have already read a book on what it is like to be a jockey then this one will probably not add much to your understanding but if you have yet to read such a book then I am sure this one is better than most.
