Tilda's books are all stunningly beautiful and this one is without exception.

If you enjoy doll making, and love Christmas crafts, this book is for you!

I gave this book 4 stars as its not aimed as a general Christmas craft book as it seems by the title I thought, and you need to be an experienced sewer to manage these complex projects.

There are the odd items which are not doll making, which is excellent.

You will need a sewing machine to make these projects, and have good sewing skills, and can manage very fiddly turning out skills. (I would recommend buying a small bottle of 'fray check' to prevent the fabric coming apart on the very tight small turn outs.)

To make these projects just as you see them, you will need to buy specialised items, some are available in good card making stores which hold Tilda accessories in paper craft section. There are details where you can contact to buy other specialised items you may require, there are shops on ebay too which specialise in Tilda fabrics, and accessories if you have difficulties finding items.

Details of all the craft projects:

1. Techniques
2. Santas
3. Pixies
4. Baubles
5. Snowmen
6. Candy Cones
7. Ice Skates
8. Angels
9, Gift Boxes
10. Patterns
11. Accessories
12. Suppliers

I hope this has been of some help in choosing your fabulous Christmas book, to enable you to have a fun, highly inspiring Christmas crafting :)

I have made some Tilda dolls before and I got this book to make some birthday presents for friends and family. For anyone who has not made any Tilda dolls I would highly recommend this book - it both explains how to make them and you can mix/match to make a very personal doll.

As always, The Tilda dolls are gorgeous and this book is no exception. The garden ideas are very cute; a gorgeous little mouse and an angel garland; the angels pictured on the front cover in coordinating dungarees are adorable.

Again, simply by changing the colour scheme of the fabrics, these projects can be adapted to suit any season.

The actual sized patterns are perfect for those crafters without access to a photocopier that can enlarge images or a printer/scanner.

I want to be Tonne Finnanger when I grow up !!

Great little paperback book, with lovely illustrations and full sized patterns to copy. Tells you what is needed and gives good instructions. I liked it for the doll patterns.

as with all my other Tilda books love this, takes a bit of getting used to with the instructions telling you to go back and forth to different pages, but with a bit of practice you can get have your items made in next to no time.

Really cute Christmas pieces, well thought out and well presented. Would highly recommend this. Instructions are clear and the pieces have a really professional finish which I value when making stuff - you put alot of time into making things you want them to look good. Also I can't get enough of the Scandinavian Christmas decoration look - it hits the nail on the head every time!
