I have been playing the guitar of just under 3 months, and this book has helped me strum along to In Gods country and Red Hill Mining Town. It is really excellent book and it provides you with lyrics as well as chords. At the start of the book it gives EVERY tour date that U2 have ever performed. There are also some cool photos. The only problem is that songs for the album All that you can't leave behind are not present, and i was disappointed on not having the chords for elevation. Nonetheless it is a really great book and is definetly worth the money if you are a keen guitarist and U2 fan.

Simply put, this book delivers what it advertizes and, perhaps, a little more. Even if you do not read or play music, the first 25% of the book is worth the financial investment. How often have you wondered what Bono was singing? Now, you no longer need to be in doubt, even with the b-sides (yes, the lyrics for those are included too). In short, this book is a joy to have and it was high time for such a book to be released.

this book is brilliant if your after the chords of many many u2 songs. basically it has an alphabetical list of all the u2 songs written by u2 between the years 1979 and 1999. For each song sheet music and chord boxes are provided, its not tablature (as in the mxtabs.net kind of stuff) The only drawbacks are that its only u2 songs written by u2 so theres no helter skelter or all along the watch tower and theres nothing after 1999 meaning no beautiful day, elevation or walk on. but there are still well over 100 songs and it really encourages you to learn chords if your around grade 2 level and struggling to progress. The discography, videography, tour dates and chronography could have been laid out alot better but thats just a nice extra. This book is about the sheet music/chords and the lyrics (all nicely alphabetically listed!). So there you have it theres no u2 music book like it, 20 years of songs and only 20 quid. You'll just have to buy the all that you cant leave behind book for the rest of it!

Great songbook. Very handy, with precise tabs and chords, and easy to follow. Along with photos, lyrics only and band review. It is one of the best band songbooks I ever seen.
